Lake Magadi -->>

Kenya's Lake Magadi blushes under a bacteria bloom following a rainstorm. The extremely salty, alkali lake holds little life, but its waters are a favorite spot for wading birds.

  1. Hi There is much on tens of websites and youtube but no where is to be found pictures of the ordinary residents of Lake Magadi. For instance what does the shopping centre look like, the road from the factory and the old labour office to wards the landis and old shops and the mosque and beyond the 2 roomed semis on the left and the three roomed semis on the right leading to the hospital. Also what does the view look these days of the road climbing from the station and running along the top of the hill past the old church and large bungalows on the left past the club leading to the senior management bungalows and to the golf course and the air strip.
    I was very pleased to find Magadi andf so many photos but very disappointed that there were no scenes of the township itself. The last time I saw it was some 40 years ago. Are there any residents who could post fresh photos of the town. May be videos.
